Now
In our Lower Level exhibit space now is the artwork of Doris Richardson. Doris was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 18, 1925. She moved to Michigan and completed her junior and senior year of high school in Vicksburg. After marrying, Doris and her husband, Bob, settled here in Vicksburg and raised their family. Doris started taking art classes while wintering in Naples and Fort Meyers, Florida. She experimented with oils, acrylics, watercolors, and often just drawing. Doris enjoyed entering her work at the fairs. She won several blue ribbons as well as second place and honorable mention ribbons. It is wonderful to see that her talent will live on through her artwork.
On display in the lobby case are Jim Hawkins Mini Pedal Cars.
