Our beautiful local history room is a part of the original Library founded and financed by Vicksburg resident and Ladies Library Auxiliary member, Fanny Bair. The Library opened in November of 1902. In this room you will find local obituaries, marriage records, census records, directories, photographs, tombstone inscriptions, biographical information about local pioneers, important members and families of the community, as well as Civil War records, plat maps, and atlases dating back to the 1850s.
