Annual Book Sale :

On the second weekend of June every year the Library’s Book Sale Committee holds its annual book sale. Thousands of items are donated throughout the year and include new or gently used books, videos and miscellaneous resource materials for all ages and interests. All proceeds support the children’s department of the library, whether to purchase new materials or to fund special events and programming.

The stacks, boxes and bags of donated books and materials are sorted by the Book Sale Committee, led by the Committee Chair, Gail Reisterer, throughout the year.

The book sale is held FRIDAY, JUNE 9, 2017 and SATURDAY, JUNE 10, 2017 from 10a.m. to 5p.m. and is concluded MONDAY, JUNE 12, 2017 from 10a.m. until noon when what is left is sold for only $2 a bag.

This event is held simultaneously with the Old Car Festival in Vicksburg.
